On a regular Friday evening we gathered in IIS’s premises to join a challenging event: Origami – the art of folding paper into 3D objects!

The beautiful special Japanese papers were handed out and with Mikiko Uehara’s expert guidance; we took up the challenge of folding some of the basic origami models. We started out as serious adults following the instructions of folding a rather simple box but step by step as the enthusiasm increased we ended up as very childish adults extremely thrilled about a small jumping origami frog. It was a great time that brought forward the inner child inside all of us. Thank you Mikiko Uehara!
